Comparison
Cashboard vs CoinStats
CoinStats starts from your holdings. You connect wallets and exchange accounts, and it adds everything up in one account you can open on a phone or a laptop. Cashboard starts from the market. The portfolio is one widget on a board you arrange yourself, next to charts, Hyperliquid funding, Polymarket and Kalshi odds, and chain status. If most of your coins sit on centralized exchanges and you want them counted automatically, CoinStats does that. Cashboard does not.
What is CoinStats?
CoinStats is a crypto portfolio tracker with web and mobile apps. It links wallets and exchange accounts so holdings from different places show up as one portfolio, with prices and market data alongside. Everything lives in a CoinStats account, which is how the same portfolio appears on every device you sign in from.
How do Cashboard and CoinStats compare?
| Topic | Cashboard | CoinStats |
|---|---|---|
| Approach | A spatial board. Drag, resize and group widgets on an infinite canvas. | A portfolio-first app with a structured layout for holdings and prices. |
| Portfolio method | Watch-only public EVM, Solana and Hyperliquid addresses, plus manual holdings. No exchange API syncing, and no wallet indexing on BNB Chain or Avalanche. | Account-based. Connected wallets and exchange accounts sync on their own, and manual entry covers the rest. |
| Markets covered | Crypto prices and charts, Hyperliquid funding, Polymarket and Kalshi, stock quotes, tokenized stocks, stablecoin flows and 15 networks. | Crypto assets and the portfolios built from them. |
| Sharing | Send the board as a link. Watched wallets and manual holdings are removed first, so the layout travels without your balances. | Portfolios live in your CoinStats account. |
| Privacy and data storage | Nothing syncs between devices, because there is no account to sync through. Each browser, and each desktop install, keeps its own boards. | Portfolio data is kept with your CoinStats account so it syncs across web and mobile. |
| Mobile | No mobile app. The web dashboard opens in a phone browser, though a canvas is happier on a big screen. | Web and mobile apps. |
| Price | No subscription tier. The web board is free and the desktop app, for Windows or macOS, is a single $199 payment in crypto. | Free to start, with paid plans. Check CoinStats for current pricing. |

- Sharing a board layout should not mean sharing your addresses or balances.
When is CoinStats the better fit?
- Your coins sit on centralized exchanges and you want them counted without typing anything in.
- You check your portfolio mostly on your phone and want a proper app for it.
- The same portfolio should follow you to every device you sign in from.
Frequently asked questions
Can Cashboard sync my exchange accounts like CoinStats?
No. Cashboard never connects to exchange APIs. It reads public EVM, Solana and Hyperliquid addresses watch-only. Coins held on an exchange can go in as manual holdings, which stay on your device, but you update those amounts by hand.
Can I use Cashboard without an account?
Yes. Cashboard has no account system, so there is nothing to sign up for. The catch is that a board lives only where you made it. Clear site data in your browser and it is gone, so export the boards you care about to a file.
