Documentation

Build a board that works for you.

Cashboard is a spatial dashboard for reading markets: live widgets on an infinite canvas, arranged the way you think. It runs free in your browser with no account, and as a desktop app for Windows and macOS.

Quick start

These steps use the web version, which needs no sign-up.

  1. 1

    Open the app

Go to cashboard.live/#app, or press Open Cashboard on the home page.

  2. 2

    Pick a starting point

On a first visit you see Start from a real board. Click one of the 12 templates, or choose Or start with an empty board. The picker appears only once.

  3. 3

    Add widgets

Open the Add tab, open a group such as Markets and click a card such as Prices. Or press Ctrl K (Cmd K on macOS), type chart and pick Add price chart.

  4. 4

Move, resize and use a widget

Drag a widget by its header to move it. Select it and drag a corner or an edge to resize. Click it again (or press Enter) to make it active: only an active widget takes clicks, scrolling and typing.

  5. 5

    Let it save

Boards autosave on this device and the top bar shows Saved locally. Another browser or device will not see them, and clearing this browser's site data deletes them.

  6. 6

    Share or export

Press Share in the top bar and copy the link: it opens as a copy of your board. For a file, press Ctrl K and run Export this board; Import a board loads it as a new board.

What Cashboard is and is not

What it isA canvas of live market widgets for prices, perps, watched wallets, launches, flows and more: 49 widget types, 12 ready-made boards and a local Library. B Cash, the canvas agent, builds a desk from one sentence and watches it while Cashboard is open.
What it is notA broker, exchange or custodian. It holds no funds, has no order entry of its own and never asks for a seed phrase or private key.
SigningOn the web, Jupiter provides Solana swaps and LI.FI provides swaps on Base and Robinhood Chain. Your wallet signs after you review and confirm. Desktop opens jup.ag or Jumper in your browser. B Cash, connected agents and alerts submit no trades.
DataThird-party providers supply every number, so a feed can be delayed or down.

How data and keys work

Cashboard works with public data out of the box, and Data sources explains where the numbers come from. On the web, some lookups pass through Cashboard's own server functions; on desktop the app calls providers directly.

Keys are optional and desktop only. The Connections tab saves credentials for CoinGecko Demo, Blockscout, Coinbase RPC and Dune, and B Cash planner keys for Anthropic and OpenAI, encrypted with the operating system's secure storage and never shown again. Enter provider credentials only, never a seed phrase. See Connections.

Where to go next

Everything in the documentation

Start here

  • Getting started: A guided first ten minutes in Cashboard: open the web app, pick a template, add widgets, style the board and keep it safe.

Boards

  • Boards and canvas: How a Cashboard board works: camera and zoom, Select and Hand tools, Style tab, Tidy up, undo, autosave and web versus desktop storage.
  • Board Agent: How B Cash builds a desk from one sentence, writes a morning brief and watches a board, who has access, and its privacy and usage limits.
  • Templates and sharing: Use 12 board templates, save local workstations and widget presets, import or export JSON, and review what a share link removes and keeps.
  • Keyboard shortcuts: Every Cashboard keyboard shortcut and mouse gesture: canvas keys, widget controls, undo, the command palette and dialogs, with Ctrl and Cmd keys.

Widgets

  • Widget reference: How Cashboard widgets work: the Add panel, active and idle states, live and polled data, web and desktop, and how to pick a widget by goal.
  • Intelligence tools: Read Hyperliquid depth, trace followed wallet swaps and place sourced events on charts with Liquidity X-ray, Smart money graph and Market events.
  • Markets: Reference for the nine Markets widgets: Prices, Price chart, Watchlist, Trending on-chain, Stocks, Tokenized stocks, RWA, Token terminal and Narratives.
  • Positions: How the Your positions widgets work: Portfolio, Net worth, Perps positions, Paper trading and Swap fees, with sources, networks, limits and refresh.
  • Risk and flows: Reference for Perps risk, Liquidations, Stablecoin risk, Market flows, Predictions, Chain status, Chain heartbeat and Dune query: what each one shows.

  • HL, Base, Robinhood, Ethereum: Reference for the Hyperliquid, Base, Robinhood and Ethereum widgets: what each one shows, its controls, saved settings and data sources.
  • On the board: Reference for the On the board widgets in Cashboard: Price alert, Note, Frame and Web app, with controls, limits, share links and web versus desktop.

Wallets and trading

  • Portfolios and wallets: Track wallets, manual holdings and Hyperliquid accounts without giving Cashboard control: networks, prices, Net worth, limits and privacy.
  • Alerts: Set price, funding APR, basis and open interest alerts, stack up to three perp conditions with AND, and learn when web and desktop alerts fire.
  • Trading and signing: Paper trading, Jupiter swaps on Solana, LI.FI swaps on Base and Robinhood Chain, Buy buttons, and where your own wallet confirms and signs.

Data and connections

  • Data sources: Where every Cashboard number comes from, how to read its source line and freshness pill, and what happens when a provider is slow, limited or down.
  • Connections: Save optional CoinGecko, Blockscout, Coinbase RPC, Dune, Anthropic and OpenAI keys in Cashboard Desktop, test them, and see how they are stored or removed.
  • Agents and MCP: Let Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Codex or Cursor read your boards and propose changes you approve, or show another MCP server's tool as a widget.
  • Connect an AI agent: Copy the setup for Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Codex or Cursor from Connections, then allow the agent on the card. Desktop only.
  • Blockscout PRO API: How Cashboard Desktop uses a Blockscout PRO API key: what it changes, which chains it covers, setup steps, limits, security and fixes.

Desktop and access

  • Desktop app: Install Cashboard Desktop, see where it keeps your boards, how updates and alerts work, and what to do when the window is blank or it will not start.
  • Lifetime access: How buying Cashboard Desktop works: four crypto routes, exact amounts, the recovery code, finality, one-time downloads and what to do when access fails.

Help

  • Troubleshooting: Match what you see on screen to its cause and fix: stale widgets, empty portfolios, Blockscout errors, lost boards, share links, alerts and payments.
  • Privacy and data handling: What Cashboard stores on your device, what the web and desktop apps send to which provider, what checkout records and how to remove it.
