Comparison
Cashboard vs Zapper
Zapper closed on August 3, 2026. It told you what a wallet did, in a feed that turned transactions into plain sentences. Cashboard only shows where a wallet stands now. What it did an hour ago is not on the board, and neither are its lending or LP positions. You pick which wallets, markets and network signals sit next to each other, and the layout stays on your device.
What is Zapper?
Zapper was an onchain portfolio and activity dashboard. You added wallet addresses and it showed their tokens, NFTs and DeFi positions across many chains, with an activity feed that described their transactions in plain language. It announced a wind-down in July 2026. The service closed on August 3.
How do Cashboard and Zapper compare?
| Topic | Cashboard | Zapper |
|---|---|---|
| Approach | A canvas you lay out yourself, where a wallet is one widget type among more than 30. | Was a dashboard built around wallet portfolios and their onchain activity. |
| Portfolio method | Watch-only EVM, Solana and Hyperliquid addresses, plus manual holdings. | Address-based portfolios for the wallets you added or followed, including DeFi positions. |
| Activity | Current balances and positions only. No transaction history and no feed. | The activity feed was a core part of the product. |
| Markets covered | Hyperliquid funding and perps risk, prediction markets, stocks, tokenized stocks, stablecoin flows, trending pools and new launchpad tokens. | Onchain assets and wallet activity, until it closed. |
| Sharing | There are no public profiles. A board link holds the layout after the # in the URL, the part browsers do not send to a server. | Wallet views were tied to public addresses. |
| Privacy and data storage | Watched wallets are saved on your machine, not in a hosted account. | Was a hosted service. |
| Price | Free on the web. As a desktop app for Windows or macOS it is $199, paid once. | Shut down. |
When is Cashboard the better fit?
- You checked wallet balances on Zapper and need a watch-only place for them now.
- You watch pump.fun launches and Hyperliquid accounts closely.
- Wallets, perps, prediction markets and chain status belong on one canvas you arrange yourself.
When is Zapper the better fit?
- You want what the wallets you follow did, transaction by transaction. Zapper closed in August 2026, so a block explorer or another wallet tracker with an activity feed is the place for that.
- You care more about wallet history than market data. A block explorer shows every transaction, and Cashboard shows none.
Frequently asked questions
Does Cashboard have an activity feed like Zapper had?
No. Cashboard shows current balances and positions for watched addresses and keeps no transaction history. What sits beside the wallet instead is market data, such as trending pools, the launchpad radar and funding rates.
Which wallets can Cashboard watch?
Public Solana addresses, public EVM addresses on 11 networks and Hyperliquid accounts by 0x address. As of October 2026 the web build returns an error for Base, Arbitrum One, Robinhood Chain, Arc and Polygon PoS. HyperEVM, BNB Chain and Avalanche have no portfolio support. Paste an address and it reads balances. No key, no signature prompt.
