Hyperliquid stats: HLP vault, HYPE staking and HIP-3 share

Hyperliquid pulse puts the exchange on one card: HYPE with its hourly closes over the last day, open interest and 24h volume split between the main dex and HIP-3, the HLP vault and HYPE staking. The split is the number to watch. The Block put HIP-3 at around half of Hyperliquid's perp volume in July 2026, up from roughly 2 percent at the start of the year. The HLP tile gives the vault's account value, the APR Hyperliquid reports and PnL for the last week and all time. The staking tile adds up staked HYPE, prices it and shows the stake-weighted APR of active validators. Each part loads on its own, so if the vault feed fails, that tile reads n/a and the rest still fill in.

Frequently asked questions

Can the HLP vault lose money?

Yes. It makes markets and runs backstop liquidations, and both can go wrong. A single liquidated ETH long cost it about $4 million on March 12, 2025. The widget prints a losing week in red.

How is the staking APR worked out?

Cashboard takes the predicted APR that Hyperliquid's API lists for each active validator and weights it by that validator's stake. Your own validator can earn more or less than the average, and a jailed one pays its delegators nothing until it unjails.
