Robinhood perps on Lighter: stocks, pre-IPO and funding

The Robinhood perps widget reads Lighter's exchange on Robinhood Chain, the order books Robinhood Wallet sends perps to, and sorts its markets by 24 hour volume. Stocks holds stock and ETF perps, pre-IPO names such as OpenAI and commodities such as gold, while Crypto holds the coin perps and Spot the USDG spot books. Each perp row shows the mark, 24 hour change, a bar for where the mark sits in its 24 hour range, volume, open interest and Lighter funding as an APR, with the maximum leverage beside the ticker. The Funding view sets Lighter's rate against Hyperliquid's and Binance's and ranks markets by the gap between Lighter and Hyperliquid. It only reads. No trade buttons, no links.

How is the funding APR calculated?

The widget reads every rate in Lighter's cross-venue funding feed as an 8-hour rate and multiplies it by three periods a day and 365 days, with no compounding. Lighter and Hyperliquid both settle every hour and reset the rate each time, so use the APR to compare venues, not as a yield you will collect. If the funding feed does not answer, the funding cells read n/a.

Can I trade these perps from Cashboard?

No. Cashboard only reads the numbers. Each market links to its page on Lighter's Robinhood Chain app, robinhoodchain.lighter.xyz, not the main Lighter app, which runs a different order book. Eligible users trade these perps there or inside Robinhood Wallet, and residents of the US, UK, Canada, Switzerland, UAE and Singapore are excluded.
