Stablecoin depeg monitor and risk tracker

Stablecoin risk watches the dollars everything else is priced in. Each row shows the price on a gauge running 1 percent either side of a dollar, supply and share of all stablecoins, the 1 and 7 day supply change, the largest chains, and the yield from the biggest single-asset pool. A risk chip does the reading. Watch means 0.5 percent off peg, or supply down 5 percent in a day, 10 percent in a week or 20 percent in a month. High means 2 percent off peg, or supply down 20 percent in a day, 30 percent in a week or 50 percent in a month.

Frequently asked questions

How is a depeg shown?

The gauge moves off center and the risk chip changes. Watch starts at 0.5 percent from the peg and High at 2 percent. A sharp fall in supply trips the flag too, since a run on a stablecoin shows up as redemptions. Yield-bearing coins such as USYC and USDY carry a NAV tag instead of a gauge, because their price rises on purpose, and are rated on supply alone.

Which stablecoins are covered?

The largest by supply that DefiLlama tracks, such as USDT, USDC and USDe. The list follows DefiLlama’s ranking, so it changes as supply moves.

Where does the yield figure come from?

DefiLlama yields. For each stablecoin it is the single-asset pool with the most TVL outside credit projects such as Maple, which is not the same as the highest APY on offer. A credit pool shows up, marked credit, only when a coin has nothing else of a fair size.
