How to track Zora and Clanker launches on Base

Add Base launches, or open the Base Desk template, which already has Trending on Zora and Clanker launches side by side. Pick Zora for its New, Trending, Gainers or Top list, or Clanker for its newest launches. Next to market cap and 24h volume, Zora rows count holders and Clanker rows show pool liquidity. Nothing asks for a wallet unless you press Buy, which on the web loads the token into a Base swap where your own wallet signs.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Open Base Desk

In the Boards panel, open New from template and pick Base Desk. The second row holds two Base launches widgets of the same size: Trending on Zora on the left and Clanker launches on the right. To add one to a board you already have, open the Base group in the Add panel and click Launches.

  2. 2

    Pick a Zora list

New sorts Zora coins by creation time. Trending, Gainers and Top keep Zora's own order for trending coins, the biggest 24h market cap gains in dollars and the most valuable coins. All three hide coins with fewer than 25 holders, so they often run short of the row limit.

  3. 3

    Switch to Clanker

Click Clanker in the widget header. The Zora list control disappears and the widget shows Clanker's newest Base launches, with pool liquidity in the last column instead of holders. The Zora list you picked is kept for when you switch back.

  4. 4

    Read a row

A tag says Creator, Content or Clanker, with the creator's handle next to it, or a shortened wallet when there is no handle. A green dot in the Age column marks a launch under 10 minutes old. Hover the row for the link icon, which opens the coin on Zora or Clanker.

  5. 5

    Set the row count

Select the widget and a 10, 15 or 20 switch appears in its header. Twenty is the most either launchpad returns in one request, so there is no longer list to ask for.

Tips

  • Clanker reports a flat 0% for tokens nobody has traded. On under $1 of 24h volume the widget shows n/a instead, since there is no move to measure.
  • A token deployed through the @clanker bot starts at a 10 WETH market cap with its liquidity locked in a Uniswap v4 pool, so a cap in the tens of thousands of dollars in its first minute is normal. Judge it by volume and liquidity.
  • Fresh tokens often have no market data at the launchpad yet. On Zora's New list the widget fills the gaps from the most liquid DexScreener pair, Clanker rows take that pair's figures first and fall back to Clanker's own, and anything neither source reports stays n/a.
  • Once a token trades in earnest, its pool can show up in Trending on Base on the same board.

Frequently asked questions

Does the widget show every Clanker launch?

No. It reads Clanker's 20 newest launches every 30 seconds and does not page further back, so a launch drops off the list once 20 newer ones have arrived.

Why do Zora coins show holders but Clanker tokens show liquidity?

Each source reports different things. Zora's API gives holder counts and Clanker's feed gives none, so Clanker rows show pool liquidity from DexScreener instead. Zora coins on the New list also get a liquidity figure under the holder count when DexScreener knows the pool.
