Crypto price alerts, plus funding APR and basis alerts
The Price alert widget watches one number and notifies you once each time it crosses your line. Price works for any coin in the catalog and is checked every 15 seconds. Funding APR and basis work for the twelve Solana edge assets and are checked every 15 to 20 seconds, so a shift in positioning can set one off while price sits still. Each alert also shows the gap still to go, in percent for price, APR points for funding or basis points for basis, and a bar that fills as the value closes in. On a price alert the bar starts filling 20% away and turns amber inside 4%. No alert ever places an order.
What does the Price alert widget show?
- Your rule beside the current value
- The gap still to go, in percent for price, APR points for funding or basis points for basis
- A bar that fills as the value closes in and turns amber near the line
- Paused, Armed or Triggered, and how long ago the line was met
- Whether notifications can reach you, with an Enable notifications button in the browser
- The source and age of the reading, and the last value kept when a refresh fails

Frequently asked questions
Do alerts work when Cashboard is closed?
No. On desktop they run for every saved board while the app is open or minimized. On the web they are checked inside the tab, so the tab has to stay open and the browser needs notification permission.
Can I alert on funding?
Yes, on funding APR and on basis, but only for assets in the Solana edge feed: SOL and Solana tokens such as JUP, WIF, BONK and JTO. Price alerts work for any coin in the catalog. Funding APR here is Hyperliquid’s hourly rate, annualized.
