Embed TradingView, Hyperliquid and other web apps on a board

The Web app widget puts a working website on the canvas. In Cashboard Desktop each one runs in its own isolated session that keeps its logins, so TradingView, a perp DEX and a block explorer can sit side by side without sharing cookies. Three can be live at once, and the others show a snapshot until you activate them, because every live one is a full browser session. In the Add panel it is called Custom app, under On the board. Type an address, a venue name or an alias such as hl or tv into its address bar, or pick a venue from Quick launch. The browser version never embeds a site: it keeps the address on a card that opens the site in a new tab.

What does the Web app widget show?

  • A live website inside the board on desktop, with back, forward, reload, an address bar and a button that opens the page in your browser
  • Quick launch for DexScreener, GeckoTerminal, Hyperliquid, pump.fun, Raydium, Zora, Clanker, Polymarket and TradingView
  • A snapshot instead of the live page when three others are already live, below 60% board zoom or while the widget is partly off screen
  • A plain reason when a page will not load, such as a site that refuses to run inside other apps
  • Pages opened from the link icons in other widgets, which land on the board as new web apps in Cashboard Desktop
  • A card in the browser version that opens the site in a new tab

Frequently asked questions

Why do web apps not load inside the browser version?

Most trading sites block being embedded in another page. Cashboard Desktop runs each one in its own native browser session instead.

Are web app logins shared between widgets?

No. Each widget has its own session, and deleting the widget wipes its cookies, storage and cache.

Can a web widget download files?

No. Downloads are blocked inside web widgets, and so are requests for the camera, microphone or notifications.
