Pepe (PEPE) live price dashboard

PEPE is an ERC-20, so its crowd shows up in Ethereum pools first. The board pairs its price and candles with what is trending on Ethereum right now.

What is Pepe?

Pepe is an Ethereum memecoin launched in April 2023 and named after the Pepe the Frog meme. It has no use beyond trading and community, and the project says it has no link to Matt Furie, who drew the frog. Contract ownership was renounced and transfers carry no tax.

PEPE launched on April 14, 2023 with a fixed supply of 420.69 trillion tokens. Of that, 93.1% went into a Uniswap pool with the LP tokens burned, and the other 6.9% sat in a multisig kept for exchange listings. It passed a 1.6 billion dollar market cap in about three weeks.

That multisig caused the worst moment in its history. In August 2023 the signing threshold was cut from five of eight to two, and about 16 trillion PEPE went to exchanges and was sold. The remaining team said three former members had taken it. Nothing can be minted now, so supply risk comes only from wallets that already hold it.

PEPE trades mostly on centralized exchanges and on Uniswap. One token is worth a tiny fraction of a cent, so perp venues quote it per thousand, which is why the tickers read 1000PEPE on Binance and kPEPE on Hyperliquid. When funding on those runs hot, the crowd is already long.
