Crypto candlestick chart widget with 1D, 7D and 30D ranges

The Price chart draws candlesticks for one coin over 1, 7 or 30 days and refreshes every minute. The header carries the last price and the change, high and low over the range. Point at any candle and you get its open, high, low and close. It is there for context. Put it next to the funding table or the position it explains and the trend is visible without switching tabs. If the data is more than three minutes old, an amber stale tag appears next to the price.

What does the Price chart widget show?

  • Candlesticks for one coin, with the candle size tagged (30 minutes on 1D, 4 hours on 7D and 30D from CoinGecko)
  • Last price, plus the change, high and low over the range
  • Open, high, low and close of the candle under the cursor
  • An amber stale tag once the data is more than three minutes old
  • Source, candle size and data age in the footer
  • The last chart kept on screen with a delayed notice when an update fails

Frequently asked questions

Can I draw trendlines on it like in TradingView?

No. There are no drawing tools or indicators. If you need them, Cashboard Desktop can run TradingView itself in a Web app widget right next to this chart.

Which timeframes are available?

One day, seven days and thirty days, and nothing longer than a month. CoinGecko supplies 30-minute candles for 1D and 4-hour candles for 7D and 30D, so there is no daily-candle view. When the Binance fallback steps in for one of a dozen majors, the candles are 15 minutes on 1D, 1 hour on 7D and 4 hours on 30D.
