Arbitrum (ARB) live price dashboard
Arbitrum is an Ethereum layer-2 from Offchain Labs that batches transactions as an optimistic rollup and posts them to Ethereum. This board puts ARB beside BTC and ETH with 7-day and 30-day candles and Arbitrum One network status.
What is Arbitrum?
Arbitrum is an Ethereum layer-2 from Offchain Labs that batches transactions as an optimistic rollup and posts them to Ethereum. ARB, airdropped in March 2023, governs the Arbitrum DAO, while gas on Arbitrum One is paid in ETH. It is a big venue for DeFi and perps protocols such as GMX.
Offchain Labs was founded in 2018 by Ed Felten, Steven Goldfeder and Harry Kalodner, and Arbitrum One opened its mainnet beta on August 31, 2021. As an optimistic rollup it assumes transactions are valid and gives anyone a window to challenge a bad state. That window is why withdrawals to Ethereum through the native bridge take about a week.
ARB launched on March 23, 2023 with an initial supply of 10 billion. Team and investor tokens started vesting in March 2024 and have been released monthly since, about 92.65 million ARB a month until March 2027. Holders feel that overhang.
Arbitrum also licenses its technology. Robinhood Chain, which launched its mainnet on July 1, 2026, is built with it and sends 10% of its net protocol revenue to the Arbitrum ecosystem (8% to the DAO treasury, 2% to the Developer Guild). Hyperliquid's USDC bridge runs from Arbitrum too, so perps traders pass through it even if they never touch Arbitrum DeFi.

What do traders watch on ARB?
- About 92.65 million ARB released to insiders every month until March 2027.
- Arbitrum DAO votes on treasury spending and incentive programs.
- DeFi deposits and stablecoin supply on Arbitrum One.
What is ARB used for on Arbitrum One?
ARB is the governance token of Arbitrum One, where gas itself is paid in ETH. The Arbitrum One page covers watch-only wallets, trending pools and network status: block height, block age, fees and how fast the RPC answers.
How do you compare Arbitrum One with other layer 2s?
Use the L2 scoreboard, where the chain is listed as Arbitrum, and sort by Fees. For ARB holders that is the column to watch: it is what people actually paid to use the chain that day, and bots cannot inflate it as cheaply as a transaction count. The figures are growthepie data under CC BY 4.0.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need ARB to pay gas on Arbitrum?
No. Gas on Arbitrum One is paid in ETH. ARB is a governance token used to vote in the Arbitrum DAO, which controls the treasury and protocol upgrades.
What is the total supply of ARB?
The initial supply was 10 billion ARB. The DAO can vote to mint up to 2% more per year, and insider tokens are released monthly until March 2027, so circulating supply is still growing.
Can I track ARB without an account?
Yes. The ARB board on this page runs in your browser and saves on your device. Prices come from CoinGecko. Paste a public Solana or EVM address into a watch-only Portfolio widget if you hold ARB there.
