What are Stock Tokens?

Stock Tokens are Robinhood's tokenized US stocks and ETFs for eligible non-US customers, first issued on Arbitrum One and now also on Robinhood Chain.

How do Stock Tokens work?

Robinhood launched Stock Tokens on June 30, 2025 for customers in the EU, with more than 200 US stocks and ETFs inside its app. They were issued on Arbitrum One and traded 24 hours a day, five days a week. Robinhood said from day one it would build a layer 2 of its own.

That came on July 1, 2026, when Robinhood Chain went live on mainnet with a new set of Stock Tokens in the Robinhood Wallet for users in more than 120 countries, tradable around the clock through DEXs on the chain. The original EU tokens, now called Classic Stock Tokens, stayed in the Robinhood Europe app. The US is not on the list, by Robinhood's product rules rather than anything in the chain.

Like most tokenized stocks, they give price exposure rather than shareholder rights, so there is no vote. Robinhood sets the terms and regional regulators set the rest. Being on a public chain means the tokens can, in principle, be self-custodied and posted as collateral in DeFi. How much of that happens depends on which apps bother to integrate them.

Picture a trader in Germany watching a Stock Token on Robinhood Chain, the same company's Nasdaq price and its Hyperliquid perp. On a Saturday the three disagree by a percent or two. That spread is the weekend guess, priced three ways.

Also called: Robinhood Stock Tokens.

Where do Stock Tokens show up in Cashboard?

The Robinhood stock tokens widget lists the largest Stock Tokens on Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663) by market cap, biggest movers or volume, and prices the top eight against the real share, adjusted for Robinhood's dividend and split multiplier. The Classic Stock Tokens on Arbitrum One are not in it, and the Tokenized stocks widget covers xStocks instead. Robinhood Chain itself gets chain status, a chain pulse, trending pools and watch-only portfolios.

Are Robinhood Stock Tokens available in the US?

No. They launched for EU customers in June 2025, and a second set reached more than 120 countries through the Robinhood Wallet in July 2026, but the US is excluded from both.
