Injective (INJ) live price dashboard
Injective is a layer-1 built for trading, founded in 2018 by Eric Chen and Albert Chon and incubated by Binance Labs. This board puts INJ beside BTC and ETH with 7-day and 30-day candles.
What is Injective?
Injective is a layer-1 built for trading, founded in 2018 by Eric Chen and Albert Chon and incubated by Binance Labs. The order book lives in the chain itself. It runs on the Cosmos SDK with both CosmWasm and native EVM contracts, INJ is staked and used in governance, and part of ecosystem revenue buys INJ back to burn it.
INJ sold on Binance Launchpad in October 2020, the first Binance Labs incubated project to launch there, and mainnet followed on November 8, 2021. The order book is part of the chain, so exchanges like Helix share one on-chain book instead of each running its own pool. A native EVM went live on November 11, 2025, next to the existing CosmWasm side.
INJ started with a supply of 100 million. Staking adds new tokens and burns take them out. For years the burn ran through a weekly auction funded by dApp fees. In October 2025 Injective added a monthly Community BuyBack: holders commit INJ, get a pro rata share of ecosystem revenue, and the committed INJ is burned. The first round, on October 27, burned about 6.78 million INJ.
Injective also lists markets most chains do not have. Helix opened pre-IPO perps in October 2025, starting with OpenAI at up to 5x leverage. Those contracts follow oracle estimates of private valuations, not traded shares, so a new funding round can reprice them overnight.

Frequently asked questions
Who founded Injective?
Eric Chen and Albert Chon founded Injective in 2018, and Binance Labs incubated it the same year. Chen runs Injective Labs as CEO.
How does the INJ burn work?
Once a month holders commit INJ to the Community BuyBack, receive a pro rata share of ecosystem revenue, and the committed INJ is burned for good. It started in October 2025 and runs alongside the older burn auction.
Can I track INJ without an account?
Yes. The INJ board on this page runs in your browser and saves on your device. Prices come from CoinGecko. Cashboard does not read Injective wallets, so add your amount to a manual Portfolio and it is priced live.
