For Ethereum and L2 users
Ethereum and L2 dashboard for gas fees and wallets
Open the Ethereum Desk template and add Chain status and a watch-only portfolio. That one board covers what you check before every move between mainnet and an L2: what a transaction costs now, which chain is cheaper and what its L2BEAT stage is, whether the chain is still producing blocks, and what your 0x address holds there. Type eth pulse, l2, chain status, portfolio into the Ctrl K palette and press Enter to get the four core widgets on any board. Nothing on it asks for a signature.
What slows Ethereum and L2 users down?
- The same 0x address holds different tokens on mainnet, Base and Arbitrum One, and each chain's explorer only shows its own.
- Mainnet gas can rise 12.5% a block, so the fee you checked a minute ago may be well off by the time you sign.
- The cheapest L2 for a swap is not always one you would leave a large balance on.
- When an L2 sequencer stops, most people find out from a transaction that never confirms.
Which widgets fit Ethereum and L2 users?
Ethereum pulse
Prices a mainnet transfer and swap from the next block's base fee and recent tips before you sign anything in your wallet, and its blob fee is the data cost your L2 passes on to you.
L2 scoreboard
Sort by Cost for the cheapest median transaction on the last full UTC day, then read the L2BEAT stage before you park real money on the winner.
Chain status
When an L2 stops producing blocks its row turns Lagging, then Stalled, so a stuck transaction has an explanation. Select the widget to add the L2s you use: Base, Arbitrum One, OP Mainnet, Linea, Scroll, ZKsync Era or Robinhood Chain.
Portfolio
One widget per chain for the same 0x address, because each L2 keeps its own balances. Blockscout reads it with nothing to sign, and a token it cannot price stays out of the total.
Stablecoin risk
Before you bridge USDC or USDT, check that the coin is holding its peg. The Top chains column shows where most of its supply sits.
Market flows
Its DEX tab ranks chains by 24-hour spot DEX volume from DefiLlama, a quick read on where the trading actually happens. Ethereum Desk opens it on that tab.

Frequently asked questions
Can I follow one 0x address on mainnet and every L2?
Yes, with one Portfolio widget per network, since each chain keeps its own balances. Watch-only indexing covers Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum One, OP Mainnet, Linea, Scroll, ZKsync Era and Robinhood Chain, and Net worth adds the widgets up, counting each address once per chain. As of October 2026 the web build returns an error for Base, Arbitrum One and Robinhood Chain, because their public explorer hosts refuse its requests. In Cashboard Desktop a Blockscout connection fixes this for one network.
Does Cashboard bridge or swap between L2s?
Only on Base and Robinhood Chain, and only on the web: the EVM swap widget loads LI.FI's swap and bridge form for those two, and your own wallet signs. Cashboard's own code never sends a transaction. For mainnet, Arbitrum One, OP Mainnet and the rest, use the board to pick the chain and check the cost, then bridge or swap in the wallet or app you already trust.
