Solana Wallet Tracker & Dashboard

Solana wallets, trending pools and network health on one board. Paste a Solana address and Cashboard reads it through Solana RPC, without asking for a signature.

What is Solana?

Solana is a high-throughput layer 1 founded by Anatoly Yakovenko, with mainnet beta live since March 2020. It pairs proof of stake with Proof of History, a verifiable clock that orders transactions before validators vote on them. Fees are low and blocks are fast, which is why the memecoin trenches live here.

Every transaction pays a base fee of 5,000 lamports per signature, which is 0.000005 SOL. On top of that sits an optional priority fee, priced per compute unit, and during a hot launch that is the number that decides whether you land. Many traders also send a Jito tip. Half of the base fee is burned, and priority fees go to the validator that produced the block.

A new slot starts roughly every 400 milliseconds. Full finality under the current TowerBFT voting takes about 12.8 seconds. Alpenglow, the consensus rewrite validators approved in September 2025, targets about 150 milliseconds. It went live on testnet in September 2026, and no mainnet date has been set yet. Until it activates, most apps call a transaction confirmed several seconds before it is final.

Most of the action is memecoins launched on pump.fun and Raydium LaunchLab, then traded on PumpSwap, Raydium and Meteora, usually routed through Jupiter. Add liquid staking tokens from Jito, Sanctum and Marinade, lending on Kamino and tokenized stocks such as xStocks.

What do traders watch on Solana?

  • Priority fees and the Jito tip floor, which climb fast when a launch gets crowded.
  • New tokens on pump.fun and Raydium LaunchLab, and which ones actually graduate from their bonding curves.
  • RPC latency and slot progress. A slow public RPC can look like a network problem when only your provider is struggling.

Which Cashboard widgets are built for Solana?

Which apps run on Solana?

On Solana you will find Jupiter, Raydium, pump.fun, Kamino, Meteora and Sanctum. In Cashboard Desktop any of them can sit on the board as a web app, logged in separately from your browser.

Frequently asked questions

Is Solana an Ethereum layer 2?

No. Solana is its own layer 1 with its own validators and the SOL token, and it does not run the EVM. You need a wallet with Solana support, such as Phantom or a recent MetaMask, to hold SPL tokens.

How long does a Solana transaction take to be final?

About 12.8 seconds for full finality today, although most apps treat a transaction as done once it is confirmed, usually within a second or two. Alpenglow aims to cut finality to about 150 milliseconds once it activates.

What are Solana fees measured in?

Priority fees are quoted in micro-lamports per compute unit, on top of a small base fee. The Chain status widget shows the current level next to block height and block age.

How do I watch Solana wallets without connecting them?

Add a Portfolio widget, set it to watch-only, pick Solana and paste the public address. Balances come over Solana RPC. Nothing is signed, and share links drop the address.
