What is Robinhood Chain?
Robinhood Chain is an Ethereum layer 2 that Robinhood built on Arbitrum technology for tokenized real-world assets, stocks first. Its public mainnet went live on July 1, 2026, after a public testnet that opened in February 2026 and processed more than 200 million transactions. Fees are charged in ETH, not in USDG or a Robinhood token.
The chain targets about 100 milliseconds of latency, using short block times and preconfirmations, and the chain settles to Ethereum like other Arbitrum chains. Offchain Labs is the technical partner. Under the Arbitrum Expansion Program license, 10% of net protocol revenue goes back to Arbitrum: 8% to the ArbitrumDAO treasury and 2% to the Arbitrum Developer Guild.
Stock Tokens are the main event. Robinhood says they are available in Robinhood Wallet in more than 120 countries, with availability depending on jurisdiction. Around them sit a dedicated Uniswap AMM, Morpho lending behind the USDG product in Robinhood Earn, and Lighter perps you can reach from inside the wallet in eligible countries, not including the US or UK.

- Stock Token prices against the underlying shares, especially over weekends and after the US close, when a gap can open.
- USDG and other stablecoin flows onto the chain.
