Board Agent: B Cash access and local watching

The Agent button opens B Cash, the canvas agent. Anyone with active B Cash access can use it: during a time-limited open access window without sign-in, for one free hour after sign-in, or with Lifetime access. The installed desktop app 0.4.2 has no Agent button; it arrives there with the next desktop release. Nothing in the agent places or signs a trade.

Documentation menu

Access and availability

Click Agent to open B Cash. When access is active, the dialog has Conversation, Activity, Notifications and Manage views, and the Manage view says which kind of access you have. Without access it offers sign-in. Account activation is not available yet means sign-in is not set up on the server; local boards and existing desktop purchase recovery still work.

Kinds of B Cash access
AccessHow you get itAI requests
Open accessNothing to do while the window is open: B Cash connects without sign-in, and the panel reads Open access · no sign-in needed. The server sets the window and can open it at most 31 days ahead. As of October 2026 it runs until 27 October 2026, 18:00 UTC.10 in a rolling 24 hours in this browser or app. Cashboard also caps open-access requests per network and in total, so The free AI limit is reached. Try after the daily reset. can appear sooner.
Free trialSign in with Sign in securely. The trial lasts one hour, once per account, shared across web and desktop. Signing out or using another device does not restart it.5 for the whole hour, with no reset
LifetimeLink your lifetime purchase once with its CB1 recovery code, as in the steps below.20 in a rolling 24 hours and 300 in a rolling 30 days

When the open window has ended, the panel says Free B Cash access without sign-in has ended. Sign in to start your one-hour trial. When the trial ends it says Your one-hour B Cash trial has ended. Link Lifetime access to continue. Watching, the local planner and the morning brief use no AI requests, but like the rest of B Cash they run only while some access is active.

  1. 1

Use Sign in securely and finish the matching device-code request on the configured WorkOS sign-in page. Cashboard checks the signed account token, verified email and active session. Passkey and email recovery availability depend on the operator configuring those methods with WorkOS.

  2. 2

    Link the purchase once

Check the email shown in Signed in as, enter the private CB1 recovery code saved at checkout, and press Link lifetime purchase. This permanently links one active lifetime license to one account; it does not create a second purchase. Signing in or checking saved access alone never performs this first link.

  3. 3

    Use the same account elsewhere

After the first link, signing in to that account on another supported device restores access without entering CB1 again. The server checks the active license on every model request. Account sign-in does not copy or restore your local boards.

Existing Desktop lifetime access remains a separate purchase and installer-delivery flow. Do not buy again to link an existing purchase.

Preview on board is an explicit illustrative alert, not a live market observation. It does not enter Activity or call a model. A concept film in an older announcement also shows illustrative alerts and no transactions. Intelligence tools and the Workstation library remain separate features.

Development builds

When you run Cashboard from source, setting VITE_CASHBOARD_AGENT_PREVIEW=true before npm run dev or npm run dev:web opens B Cash without access checks. Production builds ignore the variable and use the access kinds above.

A development build can use local planning or a compatible AI server you configure under Manage. Luna configured means settings were accepted; Luna connected is shown only after a valid model response. Never enter a Gateway or OpenAI key there.

Plan a workstation

  1. 1

    Open the panel

With active access, click Agent and open Conversation. The header names the current board and has the Planner picker: Luna (Cashboard), Anthropic key, OpenAI key or Local only.

  2. 2

    Describe the desk

Type in the box (Ask B Cash to build or watch your board…, 3 to 2000 characters; Enter sends and Shift Enter starts a new line) or press a suggestion. A sentence such as SOL desk tonight, alert below 150 plans a SOL Price chart, a Price alert below 150 connected to that chart, a short note that lists what was added and what still needs setup, the board name on an empty board, and the watch. When the board already has a SOL chart, the plan reuses it. The local planner also understands note: followed by your text and in a frame followed by a label, in English and Polish.

  3. 3

    Watch the cursor work

The panel steps aside and a cursor named B Cash performs the plan on the canvas, one step at a time, with the step shown in its tag. While you drag or resize, the cursor waits and carries on when you let go; your move and the plan stay one undo step. Press Esc or Stop in the tag to stop after the current step. With reduced motion turned on in your system, every step applies at once.

  4. 4

    Review the reply

The panel comes back with a reply that names the planner (Local, Luna, Anthropic key or OpenAI key), how many steps ran and the plan summary. Chips list each step, and Undo removes the whole plan at once, as does one Ctrl Z (Cmd Z on macOS). Undo turns off once you edit the board after the plan; panning keeps it. A stopped plan keeps the steps that ran, and they still undo together.

A plan is additive. It can add up to 12 data widgets, 4 notes and 2 frames, connect an alert it adds to a source that shows the same asset, rename an empty board and switch the watch on. Alerts already on your board are never re-pointed, paused or re-armed. It never removes or moves your widgets, and it will not take the board past 500 widgets. Every plan, from any planner, is checked against the board before it runs: an unknown widget, a wallet address that is not in your message or a link or image anywhere in its text rejects the whole plan, and nothing is applied. The plan is checked again against the board as it is when the reply arrives. If a widget the plan uses is deleted before the cursor starts, the plan does not run and the reply says why.

When Luna is not connected or your Luna allowance is used up, the local planner answers and the reply says so. When a Luna or own-key plan fails or is rejected, the reply gives the reason in one sentence and offers Try the local planner.

Local planning picks widgets from fixed recipes. It supplies no market observations, calendar dates or wallet addresses of its own: a Smart money graph stays empty until you add public addresses, and Market events stays empty until you enter sourced dates. Intelligence tools covers those inputs. Check each widget's source, wallets and thresholds before you rely on the watch.

The conversation is kept per board in local storage, 30 messages at most. A message that begins with pause, stop or resume, or one of the other watch command words below, is treated as a command, not as a planning request, so start a planning request with a different word. The brief commands count only as the whole message: summary desk for SOL plans a desk.

Planners and your own key

What each planner sends
PlannerWhere it runsWhat leaves the device
Local onlyOn this deviceNothing
Luna (Cashboard)Cashboard, Vercel AI Gateway and OpenAIYour message, the board inventory and, on a board with fresh readings, the readings snapshot
Anthropic keyDesktop app, straight to AnthropicThe same message, inventory and snapshot
OpenAI keyDesktop app, straight to OpenAIThe same message, inventory and snapshot

The board inventory lists up to 200 widgets: their type, title, frame and public subject, such as a CoinGecko asset id, a symbol or a chain, and the links between widgets. It never includes positions on the canvas, wallet or account addresses, balances, note text, URLs or alert settings beyond the asset. When a Luna request would pass 48 KiB, the readings snapshot is left out first, then widgets from the bottom of the stack are only counted. A board with more widgets is cut from the top and the rest is only counted.

Your own key works only in Cashboard Desktop. Add it in Connections; in the browser both key options are disabled and marked Desktop only. A key plan uses no Luna requests. It is limited to 6 requests a minute and 45 seconds per request. A rejected key or a provider refusal names the provider in the reply, and nothing is applied.

Morning brief

While your B Cash access is active, when you leave a board Cashboard keeps a small visit record on this device: up to 60 public readings, the alert states, the connections and the widget list. When you come back after six hours or more, B Cash waits until at least half of those readings are fresh again, or 90 seconds, then the cursor writes a brief into a note at the top left of your view. The next brief replaces the text of the same note. If you delete it, a new one is created.

The brief lists the largest price moves above your Price move minimum, alerts that became met, paused or lost their source, a count of Activity signals since you left, widgets added or removed and connections that broke. Readings older than three minutes are left out and counted. It is computed on this device from cached readings and is never sent to a model. Interpret on the brief note fills Analyze mode with the brief text; nothing is sent until you press send.

The automatic brief waits while the panel is open, while a plan runs and while you drag or resize, and it does not run during quiet hours or snooze. Typing brief, summary, what changed, co się zmieniło, podsumuj or raport as the whole message writes the brief at once, quiet hours or not; the panel steps aside while the cursor writes. When nothing changed, the reply says Nothing changed since and the time you left. When the device cannot keep a visit history, the reply says so.

Local watch and Activity

The panel header shows Watching board or Watch paused, with a Pause or Start watch button. Starting a watch sets a fresh baseline: the first fresh reading of each source is stored without raising a signal, and only later changes count. You can also type commands. start watching, resume and watch this start the watch, pause and stop pause it on this board, and what changed (also brief or summary) writes the morning brief into its note. Polish equivalents such as pauza and obserwuj work too. Commands run on your device and are never sent to an AI server.

With the watch on, Cashboard looks for these changes:

  • Funding sign changes (setting Funding sign changes). The board needs a Funding rates, Hyperliquid markets or Perps risk widget. The agent follows the markets with the largest absolute hourly funding rate, as many as the Funding rates widget is set to show, or 15 when the board has no Funding rates widget, and records a signal when a rate moves from positive to negative or the reverse. Source: Hyperliquid.
  • Positions: a Perps positions widget with a public Hyperliquid address. A signal appears when a position that was absent at the previous check, or sits on the other side, is worth at least Position minimum USD and uses at least Position minimum leverage. It marks the first sighting between two checks, not a fill time.
  • Wallet swaps: wallets followed in Smart money or Smart money graph widgets. A signal appears for a new swap that has a USD value of at least Wallet flow minimum USD, a verified chain timestamp and a time after the baseline. Swaps are inferred from balance changes, so a signal is not a verified fill. Solana reads through Solana RPC with Jupiter pricing; Base, Ethereum and Robinhood Chain read through Blockscout, see Blockscout.
  • Launch graduations (setting New token graduations): a Launchpad radar widget set to Solana. A signal needs graduation after the baseline and actual metadata meeting every active quality filter. Defaults require 250 holders and $50,000 market cap; missing required data does not pass. Robinhood Chain (Pons) is skipped and the status says so.
  • Liquidations: a Liquidations widget on the board. A signal appears for a liquidation of at least Liquidation minimum USD that the live Binance, Bybit or OKX streams report after the baseline. Coverage is limited to the markets those streams subscribe to.
  • Price thresholds: every enabled Price alert widget that uses the price metric. The signal needs a move from not met to met after the baseline. Funding APR and basis alerts are not read by the agent.

Under the header the panel lists the source checks. It shows Checking sources…, a Reading line for each request in progress, a check mark for each source read and the Checked time. The sources are named Hyperliquid funding, Followed wallet swaps, Price thresholds, Solana graduations, one Account 0x… entry per Hyperliquid address and a Liquidations: line. A request that fails or takes longer than 12 seconds shows as <source> unavailable or still reading; it never becomes a guessed signal.

Activity counts the recorded signals and lists the 30 newest. Each entry shows a title, a detail line, the Observed time and a source link. Why this signal? opens the current value and, where there is one, the previous value, and Show on board focuses the widget behind the signal. Cashboard stores up to 100 signals per board in local storage. A reading older than three minutes counts as stale and cannot raise a signal.

While the watch is on for a board, the agent checks every enabled price alert on it. The Price alert widget and the desktop alert monitor skip those alerts, so one crossing does not notify twice. Funding APR, basis, OI change and multi-condition alerts keep their usual path, described in Alerts.

Attention, notifications and limits

On a new signal decides what the board does. Notify only leaves the board as it is. Focus widget + arrow pans and zooms to the widget behind the signal (zoom between 20% and 100%), selects it and draws a dashed arrow with a banner that stays until you dismiss it with ×. Move widget into focus + arrow also moves that widget to the middle of the view, or to free space right of the other widgets when the middle is taken. A locked widget does not move, and a move is undoable.

Automatic focus waits during widget interaction. It is discarded when management is open, the page is hidden, watching is paused or restarted, delivery is muted, the target is removed, or evidence is older than three minutes. Show on board in Activity is a separate explicit inspection: an older observation can be shown as Recorded without sending another system notification.

Notifications control delivery separately from detection. System notifications are off by default and require explicit opt-in and permission. Dashboard delivery has category controls, a default 60-second gap between any two alerts, a 300-second gap per widget and category, and at most 12 alerts in a rolling hour. Quiet hours use your device timezone; equal start and end times mute the whole day. Snooze and quiet hours also block critical alerts and automatic focus. All matched signals stay in Activity, including muted ones, and are not replayed later.

Dashboard bubbles last eight seconds by default, pause while hovered or keyboard-focused, and drain after dismissal. If the global gap is set to zero, no more than three alerts are delivered from one check. Unavailable delivery-budget storage pauses delivery. Turning off the mascot does not pause watching.

Luna planning, analysis and allowance

The server adapter uses Vercel AI Gateway and OpenAI GPT-6 Luna (openai/gpt-6-luna). Provider keys stay on the server. Every request uses a server-issued AI session of at most one hour. Trial and Lifetime sessions also carry a signed account token, and the server checks the account and, for Lifetime, the license on every request. An open-access session is tied to this browser or app and counts against its own 24-hour limit.

Build board sends your next message and the board inventory to Cashboard, Gateway and OpenAI, and on a board with fresh readings the readings snapshot too. The inventory lists widget types, titles, public asset ids, frames and links between widgets; it has no positions, addresses, balances, note text or URLs. Analyze board sends your message and a bounded snapshot of fresh public market readings and selected recent signals. It omits wallet and account addresses, manual balances, notes, raw widget settings and chat history. Text you type in the message is included, so leave out private details and all credentials. Sources unavailable or older than three minutes cannot become invented observations. Analysis is read-only and cites supplied evidence; those readings are client context, not independently verified server measurements.

The Lifetime allowance is 20 attempts in a rolling 24 hours and 300 in a rolling 30 days per lifetime license, shared across devices and sessions. Open access allows 10 in a rolling 24 hours and the trial 5 in total, as in Access and availability. These are not midnight or calendar-month resets. A validated upstream attempt consumes one credit even if the provider fails or times out. Invalid or stale requests are rejected before the personal model allowance is charged. Local watching, commands and checking access do not consume model credits; exhausting the allowance does not itself stop a valid local watch.

AI sessions last at most one hour and can be renewed using the same signed-in account without CB1. Allowance counters survive reconnection. The server also bounds body size, output tokens, time, concurrent calls and service-wide request rates. A remote plan can only add supported widgets, alerts, notes and frames, connect them and use public watch addresses explicitly supplied in the message; it cannot author executable plugins, sign transactions or place orders. Privacy and data explains account sessions, stored usage and model inputs.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the Board Agent today?

Yes, with active access. During the open access window, as of October 2026 until 27 October 2026 at 18:00 UTC, it needs no sign-in and allows 10 AI requests a day. Otherwise sign in for a free one-hour trial with 5 AI requests, or link a Lifetime purchase. The installed desktop app 0.4.2 does not have it yet.

Does the Board Agent place trades?

No. A plan only adds widgets, alerts, notes and frames, and the watch only reads public data and records signals. Swap widgets you add yourself are separate, and there your wallet signs after you review and confirm.

Does the watch keep running when I close Cashboard?

No. It checks about every 30 seconds while the app or tab is open and the device is awake. There is no cloud worker and no push message to a closed app.

What does the AI see?

Build board sends your message, a board inventory (widget types, titles, public asset ids, frames and links between widgets; no positions, addresses, balances, note text or URLs) and fresh public readings; Analyze board sends fresh public readings and selected recent signals. Note text, addresses, balances, URLs, raw settings, chat history and authentication credentials are not attached to model input. Local only planning and the morning brief send nothing. Anything you type in the message is sent, so omit private details.

Why did my planning request not build a board?

It may have started with a command word. Messages that begin with pause, stop, resume and a few other watch words are handled as commands, and brief, summary or what changed on their own write the brief. Start the request with a different word, or name the widgets you need.
